On October 22, 2014 at 8:45 p.m., the Guelph Police Traffic Division responded to a personal injury collision on Eastview Road west of Summit Ridge Drive. Two vehicles and a pedestrian were involved in this collision. It is alleged that a Rockwood woman operating a Volkswagen Jetta motor vehicle struck a pedestrian standing at the rear of his Honda CRV. The pedestrian was transported to Guelph General Hospital by Guelph Wellington EMS for serious leg and head injuries. Both vehicles were demolished resulting in approximately $30,000. damage. The pedestrian was later transferred to Hamilton General Hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
