(THUNDER BAY, ON) Officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were advised of several unlocked vehicles that had been entered during the early morning hours of Thursday, October 23, 2014 in the Municipality of Shuniah. Unknown suspect(s) stole several items including money, jewellery, and keys.
In the early morning hours officers also attended an alarm at a residence on Silver Harbour Road and upon arrival discovered a glass patio door had been smashed.
Overnight, a 2014 Lincoln SUV was stolen from a residence on Alder Road. That vehicle was located by police. The vehicle was located parked along Highway 61. There were no suspect(s) with the vehicle.
