The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man in connection with a domestic disturbance in Chatham.
Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a residence on Tecumseh Road in regards to a dispute. At this time, a woman reported that she had been assaulted the previous evening by her husband during a verbal argument. The woman did not require medical attention.
The 71-year-old man was charged with assault. He was released with conditions pending a future court date.
