(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is reminding the public to protect their property and valuables against would be thieves after receiving a report of a theft from a Cullimore Lane, Woodhouse, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
Between Monday, October 20, 2014 and Monday, October 27, 2014, unknown suspects attended the address and proceeded to remove a motor from a boat that was located on the property.
The motor is described as a grey coloured Yamaha 150 hp 4 bladed outboard motor with a stainless steel propeller.
The theft is valued at approximately $16,000 dollars.
The OPP would like to remind all community residents that if they see suspicious persons or vehicles, try to obtain as much detail as you can, write down the person(s) description, the type of vehicle they are driving and the licence plate number.
Then don’t delay, call the police and report it. 1 – 888 – 310 – 1122 will put you in contact with the nearest O.P.P. Communications Centre to report the activity. OPP (677) on your cellular will also work.
