(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On Saturday November 1st at 4:00pm officers of the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a male carrying a long gun rifle on Bay Street in Trenton. Officers responded and quickly contained the situation. Investigation revealed that the male had recently purchased an air rifle from a local store and was walking home. Officers determined that there were no safety concerns and no charges have been laid.
