(INGERSOLL, ON.) -The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to investigate an attempt robbery at the Bank of Montreal branch in downtown Ingersoll on Tuesday November 8, 2011.
At approximately 11:35 a.m. on November 8, 2011, a lone male entered the Ingersoll branch of the Bank of Montreal located on Thames Street South at the intersection of Charles Street in Ingersoll.
The male suspect approached one of the tellers and demanded cash. No weapons were seen and the male fled the bank without receiving any cash. No injuries were reported to police. The male was last seen on foot in the downtown core area of the bank. No direction of travel was known at the time.
OPP Canine Unit attended and along with Emergency Response Team (ERT) members, a ground search was conducted with negative results.
On November 2, 2014, The Oxford County OPP Crime Unit arrested and charged one male in connection to the robbery.

Using a Disguise with Intent
He was held for a bail hearing on November 3, 2014 and release on a Recognizance of Bail with a future court date.
