ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER TO RESIDENCE

(Hiawatha First Nations, ON) – On Tuesday November 4, at approximately 10:25 a.m. officers from Peterborough County OPP were called to attend a Hiawatha Line address in response to a report of a Break and Enter.

Investigation revealed that unknown suspects attended a residence located on Hiawatha First Nations and attempted to gain entry to the home. The suspects damaged the rear door but were unsuccessful in gaining entry and fled the area before the home owner returned.

Members of the Forensic Identification Services attended to examine the scene for evidence.
