(QUINTE WEST, ON) – Quinte West OPP has arrested two persons in relation to the theft of Poppy Boxes that occurred on November the 5th, 2014 at two Trenton businesses.
Theresa MARCOTTE, 40 years old of Trenton, was arrested at approximately 3:30 pm on November the 5th. She has been charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000 in relation to theft of the Poppy Boxes as well as one count of Theft Under $5000 not related to the theft of Poppy Boxes. She was released on a Promise to Appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville, on December 18th, 2014.
James Allen PATRICK, 35, of Trenton was arrested a short time later and charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000 in relation to the theft of the Poppy Boxes and two counts of Theft Under $5000 and one count of breaching a court order not related to the theft of the Poppy Boxes. He is currently being held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville.
