(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment have charged a male after police investigated an incident at a Courtney Avenue, Delhi, Norfolk County, Ontario, address.
On Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at approximately 4:37 a.m., police were contacted by a concerned homeowner after going outside and observing a young male inside their motor vehicle removing several items.
The male observed the homeowner and fled from the area with the resident following.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged a 17 year old male of Norfolk County, Ontario with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
