(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 33 year old male after police stopped a vehicle at a Highway 3, Simcoe, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, November 7, 2014, at approximately 9:13 p.m., police were conducting patrols in the area of Highway 3 and Windham West Quarter Line Road, when a vehicle attracted an officer’s attention. The vehicle was subsequently stopped and investigated.
As a result of investigation, police arrested and charged a passenger of the motor vehicle. Charged with possession of Marihuana is 33 year old Robert George MATTHEWS of Norfolk County, Ontario.
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
