(LAKESHORE, ON) – A 29 year old LaSalle man is facing four charges under the Highway Traffic Act after he allegedly drove his vehicle into the ditch on the south side of the Morris Side Road in Lakeshore on November 8th 2014.
Shortly after 10:00 pm police were called to a report of vehicle that had driven into the ditch. A witness checked the vehicle and advised police that the driver had fled the scene. As a result the Ontario Provincial Police canine unit and the Emergency Response Team (E.R.T.) were called in to search for the driver who was found a short time later.
Peter CUNNINGHAM was charged with careless driving, fail to report an accident, drive a motor vehicle with no licence and fail to apply for a permit upon becoming the owner of a motor vehicle. All charges are pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act.
