(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNHIP, ON) – On November 10, 2014 at approximately 10:41 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the occupants of 2003 Chevrolet that was being driven aggressively on Gowrie Street near St. Andrew Street in Fergus, Centre Wellington Township.
While speaking with the two male occupants, police observed drug paraphernalia containing marihuana inside the vehicle. The driver advised that the items were his and he was placed under arrest and subsequently searched. Police located more drug paraphernalia, marihuana and a baggie that was heavily contaminated with suspected cocaine.
Brandon ELST age 20 of Mapleton Township has been charged with Possession of Marihuana Under 30 Grams and Possession of Cocaine contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 16, 2014 to answer to the charges.
