(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On Monday, November 10, 2014 at approximately 7:58 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a motor vehicle on Collingwood Street in the Municipality of Meaford after the vehicle was observed weaving within its lane.
The driver of the vehicle, a 2002 Ford Escape, was found to have been drinking alcohol. After failing a roadside breath test, the driver was arrested for impaired driving and taken to the Meaford OPP Detachment for further breath tests.
Kevin LAMBE, age 39, of the Municipality of Meaford, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, November 27, 2014.
