30 Year Old Caught Stealing Tools In Exeter – Name Released

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – A 30-year-old from South Huron is facing a theft charge following a recent investigation by Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

The investigation revealed the accused male entered into a business located on Thames Road East in Exeter on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 and proceeded to steal nearly a thousand dollars’ worth of goods from the store.

The thief loaded up a tool box full of stolen items such as hand tools, lights and automotive equipment. The thief paid for the tool box however failed to pay for any of the items inside the tool box. The store video surveillance cameras caught the theft on video.

Upon reviewing the surveillance footage police were able to identify and charge a male suspect.

Mitchell HARRIS, 30 years of age from South Huron has been charged with Theft Under $5,000. He has been released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for December 20, 2018 at the Ontario Court of Justice – Exeter.
