Another Visiting Street Racer is Stopped

(South Huron, ON) On May 17, 2009 shortly before 2:00 am, Huron OPP officers received information concerning a vehicle being operated on London Road northbound into Huron County. The vehicle was reported to be passing at high rates of speed and was last seen turning west onto Mount Carmel Drive. Officers patrolled for the vehicle and before long it was found moving at 156 kph in a posted 90 kph zone.

Once again, the driver was stopped and charged with Racing. The vehicle he was driving was impounded for 7 days and the driver’s licence was suspended for 7 days. Omar Badden (19) of London had to find a new way to his destination. He will be returning to Goderich Provincial Court on July 13, 2009 to answer to one count of Racing. LP09117335
