(HOWICK TOWNSHIP, ON) Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate a fatal crash that occurred on November 26, 2012 at around 2:20 p.m. at the intersection of Fordwich Line and Creamery Road.
The driver of the Ford pickup truck who was pronounced dead at the scene has been identified as 59 year old Dan DICKISON from Howick Township. The driver of the International transport truck who sustained minor injuries in the collision has been identified as 37 year old Robert WILKEN, also from Howick Township.
Huron County OPP and personnel from the Ministry of the Environment (MOE) are back on scene today continuing the investigation and working to safely clean up the diesel fuel and to remove the transport truck from the ditch.
Traffic is being re-routed around the collision scene today as emergency crews work to clear the area. The road is expected to re-open before the supper hour.
