(PERTH COUNTY, ON) On Saturday May 11, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. till 3:00 p.m. members of the public had the opportunity to dispose of old and unused prescription medication in a secure environmentally friendly manner at their local Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment.
A large number of people took advantage of this opportunity at the Perth County OPP detachment in Sebringville and at the North Perth Municipal building in Listowel. In total nearly 41 pounds of medication was collected. This medication will now be safely disposed of and will not fall into the wrong hands.
The OPP thanks those individuals who participated in this event and made it so successful.
