(Town of Erin, ON) On June 5th 2013, at approximately 9:35am, a County of Wellington Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer was conducting moving radar on Trafalgar Road north of Wellington Road 50, in the Town of Erin.
At this time and location, Constable Andrew Smith observed a southbound 2004 Chrysler travelling well above the posted speed limit. Police clocked the vehicle on radar at 142 km/h in an 80 km/h zone. The driver’s licence and vehicle were seized for a period of 7 days as per statute.
Michael HALL age 18 of Oakville is charged with Race a Motor Vehicle contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is to appear in Guelph Court on July 17, 2013 to answer to the charge.
