(BLUEWATER, ON) – A Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) checkpoint put the brakes on a driver heading to a service call on June 5, 2013. At approximately 7:40 p.m. a GMC truck entered the checkpoint located at the intersection of Parr Line and Mill Road. Huron County OPP Officers spoke with the driver and noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension.
The 47 year old driver from Central Huron was issued a 3 day driver’s licence suspension.
