(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) As a result of Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigations into residential break and enters on Eleanor St. in Mitchell at the start of June, a 16 year old male youth was arrested and some of the property stolen at the break-in’s was returned to the owners.
The youth a Municipality of West Perth resident, has been charged with two counts of break, enter a dwelling house, possession of property obtained by crime under $5.000 and failure to comply with sentence or disposition. The youth is being held in custody and his next court appearance is scheduled at Stratford Youth Court on June 26, 2013.
On Monday June 17, 2013, shortly before 3 a.m. Perth County OPP officers on patrol in Mitchell observed two male youths walking along Napier St. One of the males a 16 year old West Perth resident was found to be bound by two probation orders which he was breaching. The male was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with sentence or disposition. He is held in custody awaiting a bail hearing scheduled for Monday June 17, 2013.
