(SIOUX LOOKOUT, ON.) – On July 20, 2013 Sioux Lookout Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting routine patrol when they observed an intoxicated male being refused entry into a local bar on Front Street.
The male continued to try and walk into the bar, but due to his level of intoxication was refused entry. Police attended to assist the bar employee. Due to concerns for the male’s safety, he was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication contrary to the Liquor Licence Act. During the arrest, the male resisted officers.
Mark STACHOWIAK (20 years) of Sioux Lookout has been charged with one count of Resist Arrest contrary to the Criminal Code. He was released by way of Promise To Appear with a court date of September 3, 2013 in Sioux Lookout.
