(PLYMPTON WYOMING, ON) On July 28, 2013 just after 1:30 a.m. a male, driving a Toyota vehicle on Highway 402, went off of the roadway onto the south (left) shoulder of the west bound lane. The driver over-corrected his vehicle when attempting to re-enter the west bound paved portion of the highway, causing his vehicle to start skidding and subsequently rollover.
Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and the Wyoming Fire department all responded to the collision.
Upon completion of the investigation, no injuries are being reported and OPP is alleging that the male driver had fallen asleep, causing him to leave the paved portion of the westbound lane of Highway 402.
Charged with Careless Driving is Channaveerappa CHANNASHETTI, 39 years of age, from Schaumburg, Illinois.
