MALE CHARGED WITH SEVERAL OFFENCES
(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 3:36 a.m. on Monday the 29th of July 2013, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an assault on Cameron Road in Faraday Township. Officers attended the location and an adult male was arrested and taken into custody.
A 31 year old female of Douro-Dummer Township was taken to Quinte Healthcare North Hastings in Bancroft with undetermined injuries.
A 32 year old male of Douro-Dummer Township has been charged with assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats. He is currently in custody, pending a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario on the 29th of July 2013.
