(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Sunday the 28th of July 2013, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of a collision on Township Road 620 in Wollaston Township. Officers attended the location and investigation revealed that a male had been operating a Honda motorcycle eastbound on Township Road 620, east of Coe Hill. The cause of the collision is unknown at this time and investigation is continuing.
The driver of the motorcycle, 60 year old Stephen BUXTON of Colborne, Ontario was transported by ambulance to Quinte Healthcare North Hastings with major injuries. He was later transported by air ambulance to Kingston General Hospital.
