POLICE REMIND PUBLIC TO SECURE THEIR BICYCLES

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Norfolk County Detachment is investigating the theft of a bicycle from a Viola Court, Delhi, Norfolk County, ON address.

On Saturday, July 27, 2013, in the early morning hours, unknowns attended the address and proceeded to remove a bicycle from the property.

The bicycle can be described as a blue Giant mountain bicycle.

The theft is valued at approximately $600 dollars.

Some tips that may help prevent bicycle theft.

Invest in a good bicycle lock.

Make sure your bicycle is out of sight and not left in the an open area without being locked.

Make sure that your bike and the area that you store your bicycle is locked and secured.
