(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) Shortly after 6:15 a.m. on Tuesday July 30, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to a serious collision on Perth Road 121 south of Millbank.
Initial investigation revealed that a pickup truck had been travelling south bound on Perth Road 121 when it crossed the north bound lane and entered the east ditch where it struck a tree. The lone male occupant of the truck was determined to be deceased.
Perth Road 121 between Line 61 and Line 67 has been closed by Police. Motorists are requested to avoid the area and take alternate routes to by-pass the road closure. The road is expected to remain closed until approximately 11 a.m.
