(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), a joint effort by County of Brant OPP, West Region OPP Highway Safety Division, Brantford Police, Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Environment officers, conducted a two day Commercial Motor vehicle initiative.
On Monday July 29, 2013 officers conducted checks at Henry Street in the City of Brantford, six commercial vehicles were placed out of service due to infractions, thirteen Highway Traffic Act charges were laid and one Fuel Inspection charge was laid. On Tuesday 30 July 2013, officers conducted checks at York Road at Airport Road in the County of Brant, six commercial vehicles were placed out of service and ten Highway Traffic Act charges were laid.
