(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A young driver from Bluewater will be without a driver’s licence for three days following a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (R.I.D.E) stop on August 3, 2013. At approximately 1:40 a.m. a black Ford pickup truck entered the checkpoint located at the intersection of Bayfield Road and Telephone Road. Huron County OPP Officers spoke with the driver and noted he had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed which resulted in a warn range suspension.
The 19 year old driver from Bluewater was issued a 3 day driver’s licence suspension and his truck was towed to the impound.
