Around 10:00 a.m. yesterday morning, emergency crews responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Elizabeth Street in Chatham.
A 50-year-old Chatham man was traveling southbound on Elizabeth Street when he collided with a parked vehicle and hydro pole. The man was transported by ambulance to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance with serious injuries. and later transferred to a London hospital. Total damage was estimated at $35,000. The collision remains under investigation.
