(PT. EDWARD, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was involved in a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program on Aug 09, 2013 just before 11:00 p.m. on Venetian Boulevard, when a minor collision took place at the RIDE set-up.
An officer was speaking with the driver of a Mitsubishi vehicle when that vehicle was suddenly struck from behind by a Buick vehicle.
After speaking with the female driver of the Buick, OPP arrested her for Impaired Operation. Pauline Gauthier, 72 years of age, from Sarnia, has a Sarnia court date of August 26, 2013 to answer to the charges of Impaired Operation and Driving Over the Legal Limit.
There is no report of injuries.
