(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Sunday August 11, 2013 shortly after 3 a.m. Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were dispatched to an address on Webster St. in Shakespeare, where a homeowner observed two males enter the vehicles on his driveway. The homeowner was able to apprehend one of the males and located items in this male’s possession which had been removed from the vehicles.
The 15 year old male youth was arrested and processed at the Perth County Detachment in Sebringville where he was released on a Promise to Appear and handed over to his parents. The male will be appearing is Stratford Youth Court on September 19, 2013 where he is to answer to the charges of “theft under $5,000 from a motor vehicleâ€Â, and “trespass / prowl near a dwelling houseâ€Â.
Investigation into the identity of the second male is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
