On Monday the 12th of August, 2013, shortly after 9 pm, Constables Durocher and Gratton of the Hawkesbury OPP were conducting a R.I.D.E. initiative on Old Highway 17 in the Town of Plantagenet. A vehicle attended the checkpoint and an odor of alcohol from the drivers’ breath was detected. Interaction with the driver led to his arrest as the officer had grounds to believe that the driver had blood alcohol content over the legal limit.
Patrick Olivier CHARLEBOIS (22 yrs) of Alfred-Plantagenet was charged for the following offences:
Criminal Code of Canada.
Section 253(1) (b) Adult exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content / Motor
Liquor license Act.
Section 32(1) Adult driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available
Compulsory automobile insurance Act.
Section 3(1) Adult fails to have insurance card
