(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – The OPP advise the collision in Campbellford that occurred at 12:09 pm today involving a 70 year old female pedestrian has been downgraded to non-life threatening injuries and she will not be transported to a trauma hospital. OPP are continuing to investigate this collision.
The motorcycle collision that occurred at 12:26pm today involving a motorcycle on Highway 401 east of Grafton was a result of a tire malfunction and the 52 year old male rider from Pickering has been released from Cobourg hospital. No charges to be laid.
(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently on scene of two serious collisions.
The first is on Highway 401 eastbound east of Lyle Street exit near Grafton involving a single motorcycle rider. Rider has been transported to local hospital by Northumberland EMS with minor injuries. The highway is open for motorists at this time. OPP continue to investigate.
OPP are also on scene of a car and pedestrian collision in Campbellford. A female pedestrian was struck by a car at Bridge Street East and Front Street. The roadway is closed from Doxsee to Front Street. OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigations (TTCI) Unit has been called to assist. The female is being transported to hospital with serious injuries by air ambulance.
