Chatham-Kent, ON) On the 19th of August, 2013 at 3:43 a.m. the Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was called to a two vehicle collision on the 401 Highway westbound near Duart Road.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a tractor-trailer that had slowed down for a construction zone was rear ended by another tractor-trailer causing significant damage. No injuries were reported and charges are pending.
The 401 highway westbound was closed at Furnival Road for several hours but is now open.
