(LAKESHORE, ON) On Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 3:00 am, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Lakeshore stopped a vehicle travelling 34 km, under the posted speed limit.
Officers observed a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup eastbound on Essex County Road 22 near Diesbourg Boulevard in Lakeshore, weaving across the centre line and travelling exceptionally slow. The pickup attempted to make a U-turn before it was stopped by police.
The driver of the vehicle exhibited signs of impairment and was subsequently arrested and charged.
Connor PILLON, age 18 of Merlin, will appear in a Windsor court on September 12, 2013 after being charged with Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Exceed 80 Mgs Blood Alcohol Content.
