COUNTERFEIT INCIDENT UNDER INVESTIGATION

(Hawkesbury, ON) The Hawkesbury OPP is investigating an incident of a counterfeit $100 bill at the Jean-Coutu Pharmacy in Hawkesbury.

On the 13th of May 2013, at approximately 8:35 pm, a woman attended the Jean Coutu pharmacy located at 80 Main Street in the Town of Hawkesbury. She purchased some items where she paid with a Canadian $100.00 bill.

Police are looking for the identity of the young woman who paid with the counterfeit. She is sought as an important witness as she might know where the bill used came from.

The matter is being investigated by Constable Luc Duval.

Description of the female: Caucasian, shoulder length black hair, pink top, grey jeans and long black boots.
