(HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, ON) On Wednesday August 21, 2013 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police attended to a single motor vehicle collision on Harwood Road at approximately 7:25 am where a vehicle drove into a tree and the airbags on the vehicle had been deployed.
OPP officers attended to a single motor vehicle that had collided into tree on Harwood Road near Pollock Road in Hamilton Township with no one around. There was steam coming from the vehicle and the airbags had been deployed. Northumberland Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Hamilton Township Fire Department were also dispatched to attend. The lone male driver of a silver 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix contacted OPP to report the collision, advising he had been picked up and taken to his residence. Officers attended and conducted an investigation with the driver.
William David CRUMB, age 19 from Hamilton Township has been issued a Provincial Offences Notice for careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
