(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment is currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision at the Highway 6 south of Fifth Line.
On Thursday August 22nd, 2013 at approximately 8:45 a.m. a Saturn was travelling north bound on Highway 6 and collided with a south bound Ford Focus. The three occupants from the Saturn were all taken to West Haldimand General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
As a result of the collision the Christine THOMPSON 44 years of age from the City of Orillia, ON sustained fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased at the scene by the attending Coroner.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators are assisting with the investigation.
