(ST. CLAIR TWNSP, ON) On August 25, 2013 at around 6:30 p.m., Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a single motor vehicle rollover collision on Telfer Road between Rokeby Line and Petrolia Line.
For reasons unknown at this time, a GMC vehicle, which was travelling north on Telfer Road, lost control and struck a ditch. The vehicle then rolled over and the driver of the GMC, a 25 year old male from Sarnia, ON was partially ejected from the vehicle.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) team was called in to assist with the investigation. The roadway in the area will remain closed for several hours while investigators remain on scene.
