UPDATE: SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING EUGENIA MAN

DESCRIPTION OF BIKE AND CLOTHING UPDATE

(MUNICIPALITY OF GREY HIGHLANDS, ON) – As members of the Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) continue to actively search for George HANDZIK, updated description information has been received.

First, HANDZIK is now believed to have been wearing a blue “ADIDAS” jacket with three white stripes running down each sleeve.

Second, the bicycle being used can now be described as having a red upper bar and a black front fork and suspension.

Further to this, police are requesting that anyone who has found a bicycle since Tuesday, August 20th in the Eugenia area to immediately contact police.

Mr. HANDZIK, 84, of Napoleon Street, Eugenia, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20th, riding his bicycle east bound on Concession 8 towards the causeway in Eugenia. He was reported missing on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at 7:28 p.m.
