(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment along with Haldimand County Emergency Services were called to a Lighthouse Drive, Haldimand County, ON address for a tree trimming incident.
On Monday August 26th, 2013 at approximately 1:25 pm a 32 year old Haldimand County, ON man was in the process of trimming a tree at a private residence at the Lighthouse Drive address when he fell approximately 30 feet to the ground. As a result of the fall, the 32 year old sustained life threatening injuries.
He received emergency medical aid from Haldimand County paramedics and fire department before being transported to Dunnville War Memorial Hospital. He was later transferred to a Hamilton Health Sciences Hospital with serious injuries.
Ministry of Labour attended the scene and is investigating.
