(Drummond North Elmsley Township, ON) – Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police including Technical Traffic Collision Investigators continue to investigate a two vehicle collision on Hwy 43 east of The Town of Perth that happened at about 7.40pm on Monday 26th August 2013.
A west bound Pontiac Grand Prix and east bound Dodge pickup truck collided on Hwy 43 between Spence Road and Evans Road.
The 17 year old, male driver of the Pontiac sustained major injuries and was taken to Hospital in Ottawa. The 32 year old, male driver of the Dodge sustained minor injuries and was taken to Hospital in Perth and subsequently released.
Hwy 43 between Spence Road and Evans Road was closed for several hours and diversions were in place.
The investigation continues.
