71 Year Old Runs Stop Sign – Three Vehicle Collision

(Madoc, ON) On August 28, 2013 at 5pm a three vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway #7 and Highway #62 in the Municipality of Centre Hastings. A vehicle travelling eastbound on Highway # 7 failed to stop for the red light, striking a southbound and northbound vehicle that were driving through the intersection on Highway #62. A 71 year old male driver of Tweed, ON was charged with Fail to Stop for Red Light under the Highway Traffic Act. A female driver was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
