In the afternoon of September 1, 2013, Sioux Lookout OPP responded to a complaint that someone had stolen gas from a Prince Street residence, and proceeded to sniff the gas not far from the location it was taken from. Officers located the subject, and arrested him without incident. The investigation further revealed that the accused was on conditions from previous charges as well as subject of a probation order, and was non complaint with conditions of both orders.
Charged with one count of theft under $5000, one count of failing to comply with undertaking, and one count of breach of probation is 19 year old Angus TAIT of Sachigo Lake, Ontario. TAIT was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Sioux Lookout court on October 29, 2013 to answer to the charges.
