(TRENT HILLS, ON) On Monday September 2, 2013 Northumberland Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft of bicycles complaint from a Seymour Township resident in Trent Hills, Ontario. Four bicycles were stolen from her garage sometime overnight.
OPP attended to the Little Fry Acres Road residence and spoke with the female victim who advised that she had gone into her garage at approximately 6:30 am and saw that four bicycles had been taken. She went outside and located two of the four missing bikes in the yard and then contacted OPP. The officer patrolled the area and located the third bicycle lying in the grass on the side of the road on 2nd Line, Seymour Township.
The fourth outstanding bike is actually a three wheel, custom built tri-cycle with a red frame, white seat, hand brake and white cage basket. The value of the tri-cycle is $2,000. The tri-cycle was especially built for the victim’s son who is blind and deaf.
OPP are continuing to investigate this occurrence.
