(LAMBTON COUNTY, ON) Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to 276 calls for service from Friday, August 30 until this morning. 66 of those were in the Grand Bend area and were minor in nature consisting mostly of liquor offences and noise complaints. A total of 84 charges were laid in Grand Bend over the weekend which was up from the 76 laid in 2012 over the same weekend. The tickets totals issued are as follows:
Liquor Licence Act – 47
Highway Traffic Act – 14
Trespass to Property Act – 16
Public Lands Act – 1
Municipal By-Law – 1
Three charges were laid under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act and 2 driver’s licence suspensions were also issued. The more significant incidents are highlighted below.
