(SOUTH HURON, ON) Members from the Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Detachment are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted male from Huron County.
Arrest warrants exist for 27 year old Robert MCBRIDE. He is wanted for several criminal offences stemming from a collision that took place on August 30, 2013 north of Exeter. Huron and Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers along with OPP West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT) officers, an OPP Canine Team and OPP Aviation Services searched the area for the suspect however he was not located.
He is now wanted for: Taking a Motor Vehicle without Consent, Dangerous Operation, Flight from Police Officer, Failure to Stop at Scene of Accident, Failure to Report Accident and Drive While Under Suspension.
His last known address is from Seaforth, however he is known to frequent Perth County.
He is described as a white male, 6′, approximately 300 pounds, brown eyes with short light brown hair. He often wears a ball cap.
If observed, members of the public should contact police immediately by dialling 9-1-1. Do not attempt to apprehend the subject.
