(Bancroft, Ontario) On Tuesday the 03rd of September 2013, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to the report of a theft on Hastings Street North in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended the location and investigation revealed that an adult male had taken a wallet from a purse.
51 year old Alexander IBEY of Bancroft, Ontario was arrested and has been charged with theft under and fail to comply with a probation order. He has been held pending a bail hearing and his next scheduled court appearance is the 05th of September 2013 at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario.
