(DRUMMOND NORTH ELMSLEY TOWNSHIP, ON) Officers from the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the assistance of the public in the ongoing investigation of a Break and Enter and Arson to a seasonal home on Lower Rideau Laker in Drummond North Elmsley Township.
The offence happened between the evening of Friday 21st June 2013 and the morning of Tuesday 30th July 2013.
The main cottage, residential trailers and out buildings were broken into and rifled. Every window was smashed on each structure and trailer. One shed and all the contents were burnt to the ground. Various items were stolen or damaged after each unit had been forcibly entered. Damage alone is established at $19,000.
