The Chatham-Kent police would like remind everyone that the ‘Walk a Mile in Her Shoes’ will be starting at 12:30 this afternoon at the King Street Commons area in front of the Downtown Chatham Centre.
Motorists are asked to show patience and slow down in this area as many men will be literally walking a mile in a pair of women’s red, high heeled shoes in an effort to raise awareness about domestic violence.
